I remember back in the mid 90's reading an interview with Bates' Mum in a European graffiti mag. She talked about driving him back to a train yard to get his cans after a chase because the paint was too damn expensive to just leave it there. She mentioned Loomit being one of her favourite writers and said Bates had so much talent to do more than just pieces, but he was only interested in writing Bates,Bates,Bates everywhere. She sounded like a real cool lady who fully supported him and what he did. Respects to Bates and his Family.
